01 Who we are
T1 Global ("we", "us", "our") is a software, AI and data engineering consultancy based at 3b Whiteleys Parade, Uxbridge Road, Hillingdon, Middlesex, UB10 0PD, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy, meaning we decide how and why it's processed.
This policy covers information collected through our website, our contact and project-enquiry forms, and the ordinary course of providing consulting and engineering services to clients.
02 Information we collect
We collect information in three broad ways:
- Information you give us directly — your name, email address, company, phone number and project details when you fill in our contact form, request a proposal, or otherwise get in touch.
- Information collected automatically — standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited and referral source, gathered through cookies and similar technologies when you use our site.
- Information from client engagements — where we're engaged to deliver a project, we may process additional business data as agreed in the relevant client contract, handled under separate data processing terms rather than this general policy.
03 How we use it
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to enquiries and provide quotes or proposals
- Deliver, manage and support the services we're engaged to provide
- Maintain the security and proper functioning of our website
- Understand how our site is used, so we can improve it
- Meet our legal, accounting and regulatory obligations
We don't sell personal information, and we don't use it to build advertising profiles.
04 Legal basis for processing
Where UK/EU data protection law applies, we rely on one of the following legal bases for each processing activity:
- Legitimate interests — for example, responding to enquiries and keeping our website secure, where this doesn't override your rights
- Contract — where processing is necessary to deliver a service you've engaged us for
- Consent — for optional communications, such as newsletter sign-ups, which you can withdraw at any time
- Legal obligation — where we're required to retain or disclose information by law
05 Cookies & tracking
Our website uses a small number of cookies to remember basic preferences and to understand aggregate usage patterns. Cookies fall into two categories:
- Strictly necessary — required for the site to function correctly; these can't be switched off.
- Analytics — help us understand which pages are useful and where visitors run into friction. These are optional and can be disabled in your browser settings.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking pixels.
06 How we share information
We don't sell or rent personal information. We share it only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers — trusted vendors who host our infrastructure, process payments, or support our operations, bound by confidentiality and data protection terms
- Legal requirements — where disclosure is required to comply with a legal obligation, court order, or to protect our rights and the safety of others
- Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition or asset sale, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to the same protections described here
07 International transfers
We're based in the UK and primarily process data within the UK and European Economic Area. Where a service provider is located outside these regions, we put appropriate safeguards in place — such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent adequacy mechanism — before any transfer takes place.
08 Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as it's needed for the purpose it was collected for — typically the duration of an engagement plus a limited period afterwards for legal, accounting and audit purposes. Enquiry data from people we don't go on to work with is deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period if there's no ongoing relationship.
09 Your rights
Depending on where you're located, you may have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you, and get a copy of it
- Ask us to correct information that's inaccurate or incomplete
- Ask us to delete your information, in certain circumstances
- Object to, or ask us to restrict, certain processing
- Request your data in a portable, machine-readable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
For a fuller breakdown of these rights and how to exercise them, see our GDPR page.
10 Security
We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we hold, including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular review of our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to reduce risk at every layer we control.
11 Children's privacy
Our services are directed at businesses, not children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we'll remove it.
12 Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal and regulatory reasons. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
